It’s been quite some time since I’ve gotten my hair cut. Every single time I go in, I tell Leonard NOT to cut the top. In which, he agrees. But nearing the end, HE CUTS THE TOP. Not just about half a centimeter, but a good 3/4 of an inch. I’m letting my hair grow out a tad bit longer, so my pomp stays full and high, come VLV XIV.
I have a cocktail of Murray’s Superior, Sweet Georgia Brown (purple can.) The Murray’s Superior gives me that base layer of pomade, I like to gradually add on to. The Sweet Georgia Brown helps break down the “toughness” of the Murray’s. Which most people find to be to harsh for their hair. I also added a tad bit of DAX Wave and Groom to the front, to give a little extra support.
The difference between my pomps and the usual suspects, is that mine doesn’t look like a taco shell sitting at my hairline. I usually call those pomps “shield pomps.” They’re combed up like shields! Yes, I’m very biased towards my hair and the hairstyles I post up.-
